Privacy Collection Notice

Responsive Group Community · Last updated August 2026

This notice explains how the Responsive Group of companies (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and handles your personal information when you join our community, complete our online form, request a quote, or take part in our member offers and prize draws. We handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and — because we are a credit licensee — the credit reporting provisions of that Act where they apply.

1. Who we are

The Responsive Group is made up of the following related companies and referral partners:

  • Dasso Investments Pty Ltd trading as Responsive Lending (ABN 72 157 765 047, Australian Credit Licence 470 980)

  • Responsive Lending Mortgages Pty Ltd

  • Responsive Debt Repair

  • Bonvoyage Debt Repair

Our contact details for privacy matters are:

2. What we collect

When you join the community or complete our form, we typically collect:

  • Your name, email address and mobile number;

  • Your postcode and state (so we can apply the correct prize-draw rules for your location);

  • The types of products or help you’re interested in, your borrowing timeframe, and whether you own or rent;

  • Any message you send us and how you heard about us; and

  • A record of the consents you give and the date and time you give them.

We only collect what we reasonably need for the purposes below. We do not collect your income, full financial details or identity documents at sign-up — that information is only collected later, and separately, if you choose to proceed with a regulated credit or debt-assistance application.

3. Why we collect it

We collect and use your personal information to:

  • Set up and manage your community membership and (if you choose) your paid membership;

  • Provide obligation-free quotes and respond to your enquiries;

  • Administer member benefits, discounts and our prize draws;

  • Send you marketing communications if, and only if, you have consented (see section 6); and

  • Meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We may share your personal information with the related companies and referral partners that make up the Responsive Group (listed in section 1), so the right team or partner can help you. From time to time we may also work with additional referral partners and third parties — such as lenders, aggregators, insurers, and other service or product providers — that we bring into the Responsive Group Community to help you find assistance and access deals.

We will only share your information with these partners for the purposes described in this notice, and — where the sharing is for marketing — only where you have consented. We may also share information with our own service providers (for example our form, CRM, email/SMS and IT providers), and with others where required or permitted by law.

A current list of our referral partners is available on request by emailing us at the address above. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Storage, security and location

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Your information collected through our forms is stored on Zoho’s Australian data centres (within Australia). Where any other service provider stores or accesses data outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.

6. Direct marketing and how to opt out

We will only send you marketing by email, SMS or phone if you have consented. Your consent is separate from joining the community and is never a condition of membership. You can withdraw your consent or opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any SMS, or contacting us using the details above. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 and the Do Not Call Register requirements.

7. Credit information

As a credit licensee, if you later proceed with a credit enquiry, application or debt-assistance service, we may collect and handle credit-related information under the credit reporting provisions of the Privacy Act. When that happens, our separate Credit Guide and Privacy Policy will apply and will be provided to you.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us. If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
